Just said goodbye to Costa Rica, but this will be in my dreams until I’m back again.
Now that the insanity (of the best variety, of course) of the CONCACAF qualifiers are over- my attention is now focused on my other job(?)/pastime/passion STREET SOCCER. After three weeks of not seeing the gang- it was great to be out there again with the team.
Here’s the LOVE promo. which should explain a bit about what we do. Our program here in Toronto is still very new and we still have a lot more out reach to do in order for it to continue growing. I’m pretty impatient (as a general rule…in LIFE) but I know that this is one of those “baby-steps” kind of things.
One of the most inspiring stories of CONCACAF olympic qualifying, so far. It was amazing to see the support of the Haitian women’s team here in Canada and what a great end to their tournament for them to go home with a win!
They touched the lives of so many this week. We wish them all the best on their trip home.
